The Vaporfly 4 is a mile-eating machine that just got lighter and brighter. We trimmed weight with a carbon fiber Flyplate and ultraresponsive ZoomX foam midsole to give you race-day speed without sacrificing performance. The result is a fine-tuned racing shoe that's trusted from the mile to the marathon. Full Speed - The full-length carbon fiber Flyplate has a higher angle than the Vaporfly 3 and combines with a lower heel-to-toe drop to give you a propulsive feel on race day. Lighter Foam - Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam, just got lighter. Running from heel to toe, it unlocks even more energy return than before thanks to a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy, feathery feel. Less Weight - Engineered mesh on the upper offers improved lightweight comfort while supplying a more consistent fit. We reduced the size of the heel and tongue to save even more weight. Lighter Feel - The midsole bulge at the heel helps reduce weight on the inside of the foot and give you a more stable ride.
